Constantinus: A success story
The coveted ” industry oscar ” is existing with three different catchment areas. On a national, European and global level, best-practice mandates from consulting firms, interim managers and IT consultants are honoured. The prize, initiated by the Austrian Chamber of Commerce (WKO), is not only intended to increase the visibility of outstanding projects and providers, but is also seen as an indicator of the professionalism of the entire industry. The national winning projects each receive the right to participate in the European and then in the worldwide competition.
The best consultancies and projects in the world
The Constantinus International award ceremony was organized by the International Council of Management Consulting Institutes (ICMCI). ICMCI President Sorin Caian explains that the International Consulting Award continues its worldwide success story and is already a seal of quality for knowledge-based services around the world. The competition was correspondingly strong. Up to three projects from each participating nation are eligible for submission. The jury was also international: Each participating country was allowed to send up to two experts to evaluate the projects.
One project each from Germany and Austria in the race
Only a few service providers make it to this highest level of competition. The most represented nations this year were Canada and China with three nominees each. From the German-speaking countries, only two providers have made the big leap from the national to the worldwide stage: Schweinfurter “Rechenfabrik GmbH” from Germany and “SLIM Management GmbH” from Salzburg in Austria. SLIM Management GmbH managing director and interim manager Siegfried Lettmann already made it to the winners’ rostrum several times at Constantinus and was awarded for his extremely successful work – this year he received the honorary prize for the best Austrian project. The business developer, who has been selected “Interim Manager of the Year 2018” by the DÖIM (umbrella organisation Austrian Interim Management), has been providing valuable services for family businesses throughout the German-speaking region for many years.
